About the r ole The Senior Communications Advisor serves as a strategic leader in shaping, directing, and overseeing the development and execution of initiative s that drive staff engagement across both the Premier's Department and The Cabinet Office. This role partners with stakeholders to champion a workplace culture that is positive, motivated, diverse, and inclusive, ensuring alignment with organisational values and high-level strategic objectives. With responsibility for delivering expert, timely, and impactful internal communications advice, the Senior Advisor works across change initiatives, employee experience, and organisational messaging. The position leads the strategic planning and implementation of engagement activities, evaluates their effectiveness, and continuously refines processes to ensure staff remain highly informed, connected, and engaged. We're looking for Internal communications leadership : Designs, oversees, and delivers best-practice internal communications strategies across diverse channels. E vents and project oversight : Leads, manages, and evaluates internal events and strategic projects, coordinating cross-functional requirements and stakeholders to achieve organisational and customer outcomes. Strategic communications advice : Provides high-level, evidence-based communications guidance and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring support for critical organisational priorities and transformation initiatives. Stakeholder engagement and influence : Develops and manages strong relationships with both key stakeholders to deliver innovative communication and engagement solutions that advance organisational goals.
