The Clinical Nurse – Clinical Facilitator is a pivotal role that supports the education, transition, and professional development of graduate (new-to-practice) nurses.
Working within the Nursing Practice Development Unit, this expert clinical facilitator will provide coaching, guidance, and support across multiple clinical areas.
* Delivering education, feedback, and mentoring to graduate nurses in their first year of practice
* Serving as a clinical and educational resource across various clinical units
* Supporting the delivery of orientation, training, and competency assessments
* Collaborating with nursing educators, unit managers, and senior clinicians to strengthen practice standards
* Participating in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
* Leading by example in providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care

* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (mandatory)

* Experience in clinical facilitation, education, or mentoring of graduate and undergraduate nurses
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative learning environments
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and patient-centred care
* Postgraduate qualifications in nursing or education (desired)
