Central Highlands Regional Council is focused on continuous improvement and investing in its people. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to work collaboratively with our leaders to drive people strategy and delivery solutions.
Your expertise and ability to provide a broad range of generalist HR advice to diverse and multi-faceted business units will be highly regarded. Working with us, you will have the opportunity to :
Build positive and effective working relationships with employees at all levels
Drive business performance through partnering with leaders to build and lead highly effective teams, drive change and guide their team through key people initiatives
Support and advise on complex Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters
Conduct investigations on breach of policies and performance related issues
Act as a conduit between your operational business units and the People & Performance team to continuously improve people policies and practices
Qualifications
Extensive experience in providing HR generalist advice within large, complex organisations
A proven ability to interpret legislation, and investigate industrial relations and workplace matters
A high degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to consult with employees at all levels
Exceptional communication and report writing skills, with the confidence and capability to present to internal and external stakeholders
Intermediate computer and systems skills to document, analyse data, and report appropriately
Minimum of class C drivers licence
