Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
* Service and repair a range of HGVs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
* Carry out fault diagnostics using the latest equipment
* Perform MOT preparations and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used
* Work collaboratively within a team and maintain a safe working environment
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Essential
* Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
* Proven experience working on HGVs in a workshop or fleet setting
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* Class 1 or 2 licence
* Experience with a variety of HGV manufacturers
