Position Type: Permanent Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday (Morning Shift)
Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour (commensurate with experience)

Essential Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience/qualifications)
* Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
Essential Skills & Attributes:
* Ability to prepare balanced, nutritious meals for young children
* Experience creating rotating menus in line with dietary guidelines
* Confident in catering to special dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, dairy-free, halal)
* Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols
* Ability to manage food budgets and supply ordering
* Excellent time management to ensure meals are ready on schedule
Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
* Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in an early childhood setting
* Familiarity with children's nutritional needs and common allergies
* Passion for creating culturally diverse dishes to enrich learning
* Knowledge of sustainable food practices (e.g. waste reduction, local sourcing)
