Performing Arts Teacher
We are seeking a qualified performing arts teacher to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching piano, speech and drama, voice, and choral conducting to students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Main Responsibilities:
* Piano Lessons: Teach piano lessons to students (12 hours/week)
* Speech and Drama Lessons: Teach speech and drama lessons to students (4-12 hours/week)
* Voice Lessons: Conduct voice lessons for students
* Choral Conductor: Lead the school choir as Choral Conductor (semester 2, year unknown)
Co-curricular Roles:
* Drama Productions: Direct co-curricular drama productions (1-3 hours/week)
* Instrumental and Vocal Performances: Accompany instrumental and vocal performances (3-6 hours/week)
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Bachelor of Music Education or related field
* Experience: 2+ years teaching experience in performing arts
* Skills: Strong musical knowledge, excellent communication skills, ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
