About The Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life‑changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 9–25 as they navigate life with a disability through to early adulthood. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full‑time position, however part‑time would also be considered.
Responsibilities
* Work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
* Utilise an evidence‑based measurement tool and your assessment skills to create therapy plans and provide life‑changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
* Collaborate within an interdisciplinary youth team to wrap the right supports around your participants, empowering them to achieve greater outcomes.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
* Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
* General AHPRA Registration
* A positive and flexible approach to work
* Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
* Commitment to personal and professional development
* Valid driver's licence
* NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
* Experience working in NDIS/disability preferred, but not essential
