About The Role
We are looking for Occupational Therapists to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants, supporting adolescents and young adults aged 9–25 as they navigate life with a disability through to early adulthood. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.
Responsibilities
Work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
Utilise an evidence-based measurement tool and your assessment skills to create therapy plans and provide life-changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
Collaborate within an interdisciplinary youth team to wrap the right supports around your participants, empowering them to achieve greater outcomes.
Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
General AHPRA Registration
A positive and flexible approach to work
Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
Commitment to personal and professional development
Valid driver's licence
NDIS Workers Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Experience working in NDIS/disability preferred, but not essential
