Dunsborough and Districts Country club, a long-standing community entity in Dunsborough, housing a diverse collective of sports, is on the hunt for a new permanent part-time team member. As part of a largely volunteer-based club, your role as Membership and admin support officer will be varied and frontline with our membership of over 700 people.
Ideally, we'd like someone who can commit to a minimum 17 hours a week and who's friendly and customer-focused style welcomes members and visitors to enjoy the club facilities and assists them with all membership related enquiries and beyond. Duties to include:
· Basic reception and query handling
· Data entry into a membership database, updating 3 software packages and completing all aspects of new member entries and renewals (inc. processing payments and issuing cards)
· Proactively supporting increased recruitment and retention of members
· Collating information and images for both the club's weekly newsletter and two social media platforms
· Email distribution and communications through the membership database software
· Administrative functions relating to Club sponsors
· Membership services within the tennis court booking system
· Creating a membership and financial report for the monthly management committee meetings
The role would suit a team player with strong communication skills, who's well organised, detail-orientated and able to manage their own workload to meet deadlines, as the role is generally working independently within the team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Personify and social media skills, plus at least a year of experience in customer service/admin preferred. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required, plus the ability to obtain a police clearance (if required).
