Our client, a thriving company experiencing growth and embarking on new projects, is seeking a skilled Design Manager to oversee a portfolio of health projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and communicate all deliverables to the construction team.
- Manage design obligations and minimize commercial risks associated with design.
- Develop and manage the Design Program.
- Create scopes of work for consultants based on the Project Brief and Contract Requirements.
- Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, covering the entire Design and Construction life cycle.
- Coordinate and manage user groups.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant building and tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (post-graduation).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Design Manager, Project Engineer, or Project Manager with a building contractor.
- Exposure to various project types such as education, health, or defense would be advantageous.
- Experience working on construction projects ranging from $25 million to $100 million in value.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities and effective communication skills across all levels.
