This is a IT Manager - Infrastructure & Operations role with Peoplebank based in Sydney, NSW, AU Peoplebank Role Seniority - mid level More about the IT Manager - Infrastructure & Operations role at Peoplebank Peoplebank is exclusively partnering with a fast-growing SaaS scale-up with around 80 employees across Australia and New Zealand to recruit a hands-on IT Manager. The business delivers cloud-based healthcare software used across pharmacies, aged care, and wider healthcare providers. This is a practical, day-to-day IT operations role with responsibility for delivering the organisation’s ISO 27001 certification end to end. You will manage one direct report (System Administrator/Engineer) and remain heavily involved in technical work, troubleshooting, projects, and uplift activities across the business. What you’ll do Own and deliver the full ISO 27001 program, including gap analysis, remediation, ISMS build, documentation, and audit readiness Oversee daily IT operations across Azure cloud, on-prem infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity Lead hands-on technical projects including ERP upgrades, integrations, and infrastructure improvements Manage IT support, service delivery, SLAs, and end-user experience Handle vendor management, renewals, contracts, and IT purchasing Maintain and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans Work closely with your System Administrator to resolve issues and uplift systems What we’re looking for Demonstrated experience delivering ISO 27001 certification for an organisation (non-negotiable) Strong technical capability across cloud, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and systems Comfortable being hands-on and directly involved in operational and project work Experience in small business, scale-up, or SME environments where you wear multiple hats Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience managing vendors, budgets, and contracts This role is ideal for a practical IT Manager who enjoys being on the tools but also has the capability to drive ISO 27001 accreditation.
