Whilst the positions are based in Queensland, there will be opportunities to become involved in other projects across Australia with extensive training opportunities.
Our client is a national leader in special foundation engineering, across highly technical land and marine piling projects.
**We are currently hiring for the following key site team permanent positions**:
- Supervisor with piling and ground engineering experience (minimum 5 years)
- Boilermaker Welders
- Skilled Dogman / Offsiders (minimum 2 years relevant experience)
**As a key team member, as part of the core site team crew responsibilities will involve;**
- Working with highly skilled and trained crews to undertake safe piling, diaphragm walls and ground improvement works.
- Participate in Health & Safety SWMS reviews and improvements
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of quality projects
- Carry out training on an as needs basis, in consultation with the Supervisor.
**You will need to have the following qualifications and skills**:
- You will be qualified in your area of trade
- You will have appropriate, certified tickets as required for the specific role
- Have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in the ground engineering site works
- Have an active interest in all aspects of geotechnical / piling / ground improvement
- Ability to work with a motivated team of office, site and workshop staff
- Be organised and pro-actively seek advice and review
- People management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in both a team environment as well as alone
- Have a quality and safety focus
If you have experience within another sector, such as the civil infrastructure or building market and have relevant transferrable skills that could be applied to piling works, then we are eager to speak with you also.
