Full-time or part-time ******* FTE) 12-month parental leave cover
Band 7 $******$****** (pro rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation

About the role
Were on the lookout for a creative and strategic communicator to join us in early **** to lead our talented Communications and Marketing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days look the same.
One moment you'll be guiding brand strategy and mentoring a small high-performing team; the next you'll be crafting compelling content, managing media relationships, or jumping into campaign delivery.
You'll also provide oversight and inspiration across fundraising and partnerships helping tell Geelong Regional Libraries' story in ways that spark generosity, investment and community pride.
If you love connecting big ideas with meaningful outcomes and enjoy a good brainstorm as much as a good brief, this role has your name on it.
You'll bring

Experience shaping communications and marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
Strong storytelling and digital skills from media to socials to eDMs you know how to make messages land.

What you'll need
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field.
At least five years experience in a senior communications, marketing or engagement role.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, deliver complex projects and create content that connects.
Bonus points for experience with media relations, internal communications or creative tools like Adobe Suite, social scheduling platforms and analytics tools.
