The Role
The Maintenance Lead is a hands‐on technical leadership role embedded within the site's OPEX framework. You will work closely with Line Leads, Process Leads and Maintenance Technicians to drive equipment reliability, reduce breakdowns and build technical capability across production lines.
The role owns preventative and corrective maintenance execution for assigned lines and plays a key part in loss elimination, coaching operators, and embedding standardised systems, SOPs and PM routines. This is not a desk‐based role and will require time on the tools when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead preventative and corrective maintenance execution for assigned production lines
* Drive breakdown elimination, root cause analysis and loss reduction initiatives
* Own PM systems, standards and maintenance routines for dedicated lines
* Coach operators and technicians to build technical capability and self-sufficiency
* Deliver line performance across safety, quality, reliability, productivity and cost
About You
* Proven maintenance or reliability leadership experience within FMCG manufacturing
* Exposure to high‐speed processing and packaging environments
* Hands‐on mechanical capability with confident fault‐finding skills
* Experience driving reliability improvement, PM optimisation and continuous improvement
* A people‐focused leader who can coach on the floor and command respect
