About the School
Bribie Island State High School is a co-educational secondary school located on an island with a population of approximately 18,500. It is situated 100 kilometres north of Queensland's capital city.
The school opened its doors to its first student intake on January 23, 1989, with 300 students.
Our school is more than just a provider of academic education. We care for our students as young men and women and have high expectations for them - and ourselves.
We continually search for new ideas and the latest research to inform what we provide to our students and how we deliver it.
We work hard to prepare every student to face the future through inspiration, innovation, and developing resilience.
Our community takes pride in giving students every opportunity to achieve or exceed their potential academically, culturally, in the sporting arena, and socially.
