Personal Care Workers, AINs, and ENs – Kingaroy

We are seeking experienced and passionate Personal Care Workers, AINs, and ENs to support our clients in Kingaroy through in-home care, daily living assistance, and community access programs.
As a Personal Care Worker, AIN, or EN, you will work collaboratively with clients by providing personalised one-to-one or two-to-one support. You will help clients maintain independence, strengthen relationships with families and carers, and stay connected to their community.
About You
* Able to work on a rotating roster in and around Kingaroy.
* Excellent people skills, with a compassionate and person-centred approach.
* Passionate about supporting individuals to maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.
* Experienced in performing personal care tasks, including assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
* Skilled in manual handling and familiar with safe work practices.
* Experienced in providing in-home and community-based care (e.g. shopping, appointments, social outings, and hobbies).
* Capable of supporting clients with a range of physical, mental health, or age-related needs.
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
* Values honesty, integrity, empathy, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
* Can set clear, consistent, and kind boundaries while following organisational guidelines.
* Flexible, adaptable, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and daily living support tailored to individual needs.
* Assist with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and medication prompts.
* Support clients to attend appointments, community activities, and social engagements.
* Encourage independence and wellbeing through meaningful engagement and companionship.
* Complete accurate documentation, including progress notes, shift reports, and incident reports.
* Follow care plans and health management protocols.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold Anchored Care's high standard of service delivery.
Essential Criteria
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Willingness to work days, weekends, nights, and overnights on a rotating roster.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Experience in manual handling techniques.
* Willingness to transport clients when required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $43.00 per hour

* Kingaroy QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

* First Aid Certification (Preferred)
