Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to support our 24/7 operation in Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all scheduled maintenance and fleet defects are covered during peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct weekly scheduled aircraft line maintenance checks of aircraft in a timely manner and without impact to aircraft network availability.
* Conduct troubleshooting and rectification of any line defects arising daily in the course of flight operations for all aircraft at base and those transiting on tasking.
* Availability for AOG call out after hours for fleet defect rectification Queensland wide.
* Support Flight Operations at Bundaberg Base.
* Ensure compliant management, storage, and usage of tooling and GSE.
* Contributes to business improvement/quality programs and enterprise risk management activities.
Requirements:
* CASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
* Proven experience with Turboprop engines specific to RFDS QLD aircraft Types.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment in relation to Aircraft Maintenance.
Desirable Skills:
* Type rated on Beechcraft 300 series.
* B200 Kingair experience.
* Supply chain management experience.
