- Lead and oversee processes for whole of ACMC facilities including property management and maintenance, facilities finance and contracts, building security, room bookings, branch vehicle maintenance, new starter inductions, and future facilities planning.
- Work health safety manager including representing ACMC and managing safety documents, procedure and communications.
- Lead and manage ACMC corporate risk management and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to ACMC projects including assistance with procurement and contract management.
**About our Team**
The Australian Civil-Military Centre (ACMC)'s mission is to support the development of national civil-military-police capabilities to prevent, prepare for and respond more effectively to conflicts overseas and disasters domestically and overseas.
The ACMC promotes best practice civil-military-police collaboration and engagement in conflict and disaster management, using a multiagency approach. Business Operations and Governance team is responsible for planning and managing the functional operations of the Australian Civil-Military Centre for Defence.
As the Operations and Risk Manager you will lead and oversee processes for whole of ACMC facilities including property management and maintenance, facilities finance and contracts, building security, room bookings and catering, branch vehicle maintenance, new starter equipment setup, future facilities planning. Furthermore you will be the Assistant to the Head of Residential Unit for all Base Management meetings and activities.
You will use your skills as a work health safety manager to represent ACMC at Group level WHS working groups and managing safety documents, procedure and communications. You will lead and manage ACMC corporate risk management and continuous improvement activities.
