Job Description
A leading home care agency in Queensland requires an experienced educator to provide care for a family of three. The main focus will be supporting the three-year-old, who thrives with routine, gentle guidance, and opportunities to build independence.
The Educator will support daily self-care routines and create developmentally appropriate learning experiences based on the child's interests, which include music, dancing, and outdoor play. After school pick-up will also be required for the family's nine-year-old. The child is energetic, outdoorsy, and happiest when engaged in physical activities such as soccer, riding scooters, and playing ball games.
This role would suit an Educator who is confident, reliable, and enjoys working with children at different stages of development.
Requirements
* Have obtained or are working towards your Cert III, Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree in Primary Education and are registered with the relevant state authority
* Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references
* Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
* Have a car and driver's license
* Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
* Full working rights in Australia
