We are a 15-year-old Tasmanian family-owned business based at Prince of Wales Bay in Goodwood. We specialise in a wide variety of marine projects – working on anything that floats… and some things that don’t. Our work includes shipwright repairs, rigging, metal fabrication, and marine salvage.
This is a great opportunity to join a skilled and supportive team, with multiple long-term positions available for yard hands, boiler makers, shipwrights, or anyone with solid experience around boats or in an engineering workshop.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working in a unique marine environment – boats, wharves, and more
Tackling varied projects – shipwright work, rigging, fabrication, salvage, and more
Problem-solving and thinking on your feet
Collaborating with a close-knit team, or working independently when needed
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Boiler Maker, Shipwright, Apprentice, or other trade background (yard hands and marine/engineering experience also welcome)
Practical, hands-on, and reliable
Strong problem-solving abilities with a positive attitude
A team player who can also step up and take charge when required
