Traffic Management Specialist
Ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic by directing traffic for works and events, implementing and monitoring traffic management plans, performing vehicle pre-start checks, loading/unloading signage, and equipment, completing necessary documentation, reporting hazards and near misses, and maintaining safety standards.
This is a key role in major infrastructure projects that make a difference, working alongside industry leaders committed to raising the standard of traffic management and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Direct traffic using Stop/Slow Bat
* Implement and monitor traffic management plans
* Perform vehicle pre-start checks, load/unload signage, and equipment
* Complete necessary documentation and hazard assessments
* Report hazards and near misses promptly
* Maintain safety standards for workers, pedestrians, cyclists, and the public
Requirements:
* QLD TC – Traffic Control License
* Highly Desirable: QLD TMI – Traffic Management Implementation License
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport
* Flexible availability for day, night, and weekend shifts
* Basic computer skills
* Strong communication skills with a focus on safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
