About the role
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our dynamic Landscape Construction team at Eureka Landscapes on the Sunshine Coast in Caloundra, Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent role that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our landscape construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Supervising and directing a team of landscape construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Coordinating the activities of subcontractors and ensuring their work aligns with project requirements
* Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise, and providing regular updates to the project manager
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Assisting with the preparation and processing of project documentation, including timesheets, material requisitions, and progress reports
* Providing hands-on support and guidance to the construction team as needed
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the landscape construction industry
* Thorough understanding of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
* Demonstrated experience in managing projects, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
