As part of this growth, we're seeking a Workday Administrator to enhance our people and financial systems
The Role
The Workday Administrator will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support, and optimisation of the Workday platform across the business. This role will work closely with People & Culture, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure the system meets business needs, supports process efficiencies, and delivers accurate and timely data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday System Management
- Administer and maintain Workday to ensure system performance, data integrity, availability, and security.
- Configure and manage core modules including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Financials.
- Maintain up-to-date system documentation for configurations, integrations, and business processes.
- Monitor Workday releases and feature updates; evaluate impact and recommend enhancements.
- Partner with the Workday Account Manager and external administrators to coordinate system updates and best practices.
System Enhancements & Optimisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Finance, Payroll, IT) to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Identify and implement system improvements, automation opportunities, and process optimisations.
- Support testing cycles including system testing, UAT, and production deployment.
Data Management & Reporting
- Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards using Workday reporting tools.
- Support data uploads, data extraction, validation, and maintenance of data integrity.
- Deliver insights across people, payroll, and finance domains for decision-making.
Training, Support & Change Management
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 user support for Workday-related queries and issues.
- Create and maintain user training guides, FAQs, and support documentation.
- Deliver training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops to business users.
- Assist with change management and user adoption strategies during new releases or enhancements.

About You - Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Workday Administrator or Analyst (minimum 2-3 years).
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday modules, workflows, and security roles.
- Strong understanding of HRIS, payroll, and financial systems integration and processes.
- Advanced skills in Workday reporting and analytics.
- Proactive natured
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Workday Certification(s) in one or more modules (preferred but not essential).
