We are helping Inquisitive, one of our portfolio companies, hire a UX Designer. Inquisitive is a fast-growing education technology company with a vision of universal access to high-quality learning. Since its launch 6 years ago, Inquisitive has been used by 50,000 teachers across 5,000 primary schools and is now expanding in the United States.
We're looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our team as we continue to innovate and deliver meaningful education solutions.
Who are we looking for?
We seek a self-starter who excels at solving problems through both qualitative and quantitative research. Someone who enjoys shaping solutions from insights, has an outstanding aesthetic sense, and can work across design and product strategy.
What you'll bring:
* Excellent collaboration skills with product, education, and operations teams
* Strong initiative and motivation to own and drive projects
* Confidence in conducting qualitative research (interviews, usability testing) and quantitative research (surveys, data analysis), and applying those insights
* Enjoys iterating on ideas based on user feedback
* A pragmatic, can-do attitude
* A genuine passion for education, especially primary education, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in classrooms

Minimum requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in UX design with a strong research background
* A portfolio demonstrating how research influenced your design (website or PDF)
* Proven ability to identify user pain points and translate them into elegant solutions
* Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and design systems
* Ability to conduct and interpret both qualitative and quantitative research
* Understanding of front-end technologies and experience designing responsive, accessible web interfaces
* Bonus: experience or knowledge of service design
* Bonus: experience in graphic design, marketing, or illustration
