Assistant Director, Governance and Operations
The Office of International Engagement is seeking a highly motivated individual, who is organised and works well under pressure, to fill the role of Assistant Director, Governance and Operations within the Office of International Engagement. This role will work closely with the Deputy Commissioner for International Engagement and as part of a broader team to support the work of the Office and its objectives as detailed in Canberra's International Engagement Strategy.
Led by the Commissioner for International Engagement, the Office of International Engagement has responsibility for lead and coordination for the whole of ACT Government's international engagement. This role specifically will foremost assist in organising and delivering in-bound delegations, events and event-brief preparation through employing productive working relationships with stakeholders internal and external to Government.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
* Experience in ACT Government systems (APIAS, PowerBI, TM1, TRIM) is highly desirable.
* This position requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and possess or acquire and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (ASVGA) security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 level (NV1) as an eligibility qualification. If screening is not successful, your employment will not commence or, if already commenced, your employment will be reassessed.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
