This is not a traditional bedside role. As a Clinical Coordinator in the Aeromedical Control Centre, you will influence patient outcomes across NSW, supporting rural and remote clinicians, coordinating time-critical transfers, and contributing to high-level clinical decision-making.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Maintain current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and uphold all ongoing regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrate a minimum of three years' recent critical care nursing experience, including at least two years in an Emergency Department and one year of proven triage experience (or equivalent).
* Apply advanced critical care assessment, care planning, and problem-solving skills to independently manage acutely and critically ill patients.
* Hold relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Emergency, Critical Care, Intensive Care, or Aviation Nursing); tertiary hospital experience and/or midwifery qualifications are highly desirable.
* Interpret and implement NSW Health Trauma and Critical Care Networks Policy Directives to inform and support patient transfer decision-making.
* Communicate effectively through high-level consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution within multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead and mentor peers while fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture.
* Utilise strong computer literacy skills, including accurate typing and proficiency in Windows-based applications.

Conditions
* There is no entitlement to Transferred Employees Benefit (TEB) or travel allowance associated with this opportunity.
* No NSW Ambulance accommodation is provided.
* Employee's currently undertaking an Extended Care Paramedic or Intensive Care Paramedic consolidation periods are eligible to apply however will need to complete all training and return of service obligations before accepting any relief/acting opportunities.
* Employee's currently undertaking a Special Operations Team (SOT) consolidation period are not eligible to apply for positions other than SOT positions. This includes positions offered via merit selection, transfer lists or later transfer mechanism, expressions of interest or secondments.
