Seeking a Gardening Supervisor & Gardening Assistant to join our Property Care Services team

About the Role
We are currently seeking suitably experienced applicants to work with people with disability within our Property Care Team located in Northam and surrounds. You will assist our Property Care employees with their employment within the team. This involves encouraging independence building, helping people with a disability develop their skills in gardening and maintenance of lawns. Specific positions we are looking for are a Gardening Supervisor and Gardening Assistant.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
* An understanding of providing support to people with disability
* Capable of providing direct support to individuals through assistance, support, coaching, mentoring and training in gardening and lawn maintenance.
* Possess an interest in gardening with a desire to equip and enable other team members to perform gardening tasks to the required standard.
* Ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
* Ability to establish and work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Commitment to working within an ethical and service-focused environment.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and be respectful of privacy.
* Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
* Current driver's license.
* Be willing to undergo NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check & WWCC.
It is desirable if you currently hold or are willing to acquire through our organisation the following units of competency:
* Transport and Store Chemicals.
* Control Weeds
* Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases
* Aquatic Technical Operator
* Certificate in Horticulture
