As a Procurement Analyst for Myer, you will play a supporting role to the function of three Procurement Managers who are responsible for sourcing and negotiating all non‐merchandise products and services for the Myer support office and stores. You will assist in the general event management, analysis and be a natural with stakeholder communications.
About the role:
* Support Procurement Event outcomes
* Procurement Event commercial and financial analysis
* Procurement Reporting and spend profile analysis
* Execution of continuous improvement initiatives across existing Procurement Team workflows
* General Procurement Team analytical support
* Assist with RFP documentation building
About you:
* Previous experience in a similar Procurement role or as a Financial Analyst
* Understanding of Power BI reporting
* Proficiency with Excel and MicroStrategy
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Proactive and ability to influence stakeholders
* Embraces change with an open mind, and maintains a positive attitude during times of change
* Works effectively even when faced with disruption and uncertainty
* Organised with strong time management skills and ability to prioritise
* Use effective strategies to stay calm and composed under pressure
* Able to identify key internal and external stakeholders for each procurement events, and how best to engage with them to achieve desired results
* Form strong relationships with immediate team and network
* Flexible, open minded to ideas, opinions, and different ways of analysing results
* Being a team player, able to get involved in team events
