We are looking for reliable, principled and self-motivated individuals to join our free range farms. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of well-managed, motivated teams on our piggeries in the Great Southern of Western Australia.

We are a family-run Company that works hard to ensure the long-term growth of our business. Our high welfare and free range meat division is focused on provenance and the production of exceptional quality free-range pork. We have sites in the Great Southern region with our brands including Plantagenet Pork and our distribution network extends across Australasia.
Animal well-being underpins everything we do and our dedicated farmers are committed to maintaining the highest welfare standards. We were an early pioneer of free-range farming in Australia and we adhere to strict guidelines through all stages of production to ensure premium quality from paddock to plate and environmentally sustainable farming practices.

Day to day in this role
This hands-on role requires a high level of commitment and responsibility including, but not limited to:
• Daily feeding and checking of animals
• Keeping accurate records
• Machinery operation
• Reporting directly to the Farm Manager
What We Need from You
To apply for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
• Experience in the same type or similar role
• Be able to work to a high welfare standard
• Adhering to Company policies, principles and procedures
• Be able to work in a diverse team with good communication skills while also having the ability to work autonomously
• Interested in developing your knowledge of the industry with a good eye for detail
• Being committed and actively creating an environment that drives continuous improvement in animal welfare, quality and productivity
