We are currently recruiting for a** Front Office Manager** to join our Front Office team. This role will report to our Director of Rooms.

**About the Role**

As an energizing and confident Front Office Manager, this is your opportunity to influence and mentor our Front Office team through a period of growth. You will have the ability to connect with people and make things happen at Hyatt Regency Brisbane.

A strong understanding of multi-tasking and caring for our guests will ensure your day is full of exciting challenges and is never dull. This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional hospitality career within an international company and offers a pathway to senior operational leadership roles in the future. This role is responsible for both our Front Desk and our Bell/Concierge areas of the department.

**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- To manage the varied aspects of Front Office operations including supporting our guests journey from reservations and enquiries, check in and check out of the hotel
- Driving guest satisfaction, World of Hyatt enrolments & upsells through varied strategies
- Responsible for leadership of the Rooms team, including Duty Managers. You will be tasked with training and development to achieve a culture of excellence, whilst supported by the Director of Rooms
- Monitor and control Hotel inventory requirements on a daily basis and ensure all room assignments are reflective of guest needs
- To efficiently and effectively handle and resolve guest complaints and concerns and escalate as required
- To ensure all associates provide excellent service to both internal and external customers
- To have complete working knowledge of the fire control panel and understanding of your role in an emergency
- Ensuring that credit & cash handling policies are consistently adhered to

**Role requirements**:

- Be an inspirational people person that is passionate about developing and mentoring a team
- Front Office leadership experience in a similar, large scale five-star hotels is essential
- High level of proficiency with Opera and general operating systems is required
- High level of both written and verbal communication
- High level of grooming and personal presentation
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
