This is a permanent full-time position (hybrid working model), based in Melbourne.
Key duties and responsibilities
This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with leadership in resolving complex support incidents and service requests, acting as a key escalation point within the team.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and other engineers to implement robust, scalable solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. In addition to project execution and support responsibilities, you will contribute to the consulting function by providing technical insights, assisting with solution design, and mentoring junior team members.
Key selection criteria
To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:
* Advanced knowledge of SharePoint architecture including site collections, web applications & service applications (such as the Power Platform and other M365 tools).
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating SharePoint administration tasks and bulk operations.
* Deep understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, access controls, and compliance standards.
* Experience with implementing SharePoint data classification labels and retention policies.
* Familiarity with Active Directory integration and management within SharePoint environments.
* Knowledge of related Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365 suite, Microsoft Entra ID/ Azure AD).
* Data migration planning and execution, including assessment, mapping, and validation of data from legacy systems, web systems or file shares into SharePoint.
* Hands-on experience with migration tools (e.g., SharePoint Migration Tool, ShareGate, MoveBot, AvePoint Fly) and troubleshooting migration issues.
* Ability to ensure data integrity, security, and minimal downtime during migrations.
* Post-migration validation, user acceptance testing, and documentation of migration processes.
* Project management skills for planning, coordinating, and executing SharePoint project tasks and migrations.
* Experience with SharePoint site and content management, workflow configuration, webparts and user management.
* Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with SharePoint updates and best practices.
