We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Planner that will see you play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of products across our stores, while optimizing inventory levels and minimising costs.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Demand Forecasting: Utilise historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to predict future demand accurately.
2. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize excess inventory, and reduce stockouts.
3. Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to secure timely deliveries, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve any supply chain issues efficiently.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams including the Merchandise team, Supply Chain, and Planners to align business objectives.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and profitability.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of X years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or related roles.
* Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Excel.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
