About the Role
B.P. Wharton is a dynamic and rapidly expanding property development and investment group with a strong project pipeline across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. As our business grows, we are urgently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Office Manager to join our team in a varied, hands-on role supporting both our financial and operational functions.
This is a genuine opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-paced, project-driven environment where no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing
* Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts management
* BAS preparation, bank reconciliations and liaison with external accountants
* Accounts payable and receivable
* General office administration and operational support
* Coordination with consultants, suppliers and internal teams
* Assisting management with a range of operational tasks
What We're Looking For
* Proven bookkeeping and accounts experience
* Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
* Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive
* Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
* Trustworthy and comfortable handling sensitive financial information
* Experience in property, construction or real estate is a plus — but not essential
