THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Retail Marketing Manager to join our high-performing Marketing team on a full-time, 12-month maternity leave contract, with the potential to extend.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll lead the planning and execution of retail marketing campaigns, manage key supplier and partnership relationships, and drive brand activations across our national store network.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where no two days are the same. You’ll collaborate across multiple departments, lead retail campaign execution from concept through to delivery, support major supplier partnerships and sponsorships, and oversee local area marketing initiatives that drive results in-store.
You’ll also play a key leadership role by supporting and mentoring the Retail Marketing Coordinator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Marketing & Campaign Execution
* Lead end-to-end execution of national retail campaigns across 126+ stores
* Manage supplier integration into campaigns across Platinum, Gold and Silver partnership tiers
* Coordinate campaign assets, approvals and collateral delivery across all channels
* Project manage major supplier promotional weekends and campaign reporting
In-Store Marketing & Retail Activation
* Lead monthly retail guide planning and prioritisation meetings
* Collaborate with design, purchasing and supplier teams to execute in-store activations
* Manage POS collateral production, print procurement and delivery timelines
Local Area Marketing (LAM)
* Drive localised marketing initiatives including store birthdays, shopping centre advertising and tailored campaigns for individual stores
* Support stores with bespoke activation collateral and local marketing activity
New Store Openings & Store Communications
* Manage marketing activity for new store openings, relocations and closures
* Coordinate launch campaigns across eDM, SMS, social media and in-store collateral
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver clear customer communications
Partnerships & Sponsorship Activations
* Support supplier partnership negotiations and marketing package execution
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and suppliers
* Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities and fitness event activations
* Ensure activations align with brand objectives and customer engagement strategies
ABOUT YOU
You’re a commercially minded retail marketer who thrives in a collaborative, high-volume environment and loves bringing campaigns to life.
You’ll bring:
* 5+ years’ experience in retail marketing, brand marketing or supplier marketing
* Strong experience managing multi-channel campaigns at a national level
* Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills
* Proven project management experience with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
* Experience working with POS, print production and in-store marketing collateral
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Monday.com highly regarded)
* Experience within health, fitness, FMCG or specialty retail industries is highly regarded
* Relevant marketing or communications qualifications (desirable but not essential)
