**THE ROLE**
**Therapeutic Care Worker (4 x Positions available)**
Hurstbridge Farm Therapeutic Care Program is an innovative initiative designed to provide a specialised treatment approach in Victoria.
The program provides an intensive experience for young people who are experiencing the aftermath of abuse and neglect. The practice model uses the frameworks and techniques of Trauma and Attachment Theories.
The key role of therapeutic care staff is to provide daily care and implement the therapeutic treatment strategies via everyday interactions.
Hurstbridge Farm Therapeutic Care Program is designed to provide a specialised trauma informed approach in the North Division.
Therapeutic Care Workers are responsible for developing and maintaining service for children and young people requiring support and alternative care as a result of abuse and neglect identified by the department's child protection services.
