Our client is a leader in the field of Chemical Blending, Formulating, and Packaging. They operate a fast-paced production site, that involves production fill lines, machine operation, batching and blending of chemicals, packaging and storage solutions.
We currently have day and night positions available for experienced and inexperienced Chemical Formulators / Batch Operators to join their busy and growing team.
These positions offer full time hours + OT every week Monday - Friday with the view to being offered a permanent full-time position.
**Duties Include**:
- Raw material mixing of specified chemicals, liquids & granules
- Responsible for pumping products from mixing tanks to storage IBC's
- Ensure there is efficient workflow throughout the factory
- Assemble packaging and labels prior to batches being made
- Ensure the batch sheet instructions are followed
- Ensure work area is tidy at the end of each day and week and equipment is cleaned after use
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as required
**To be considered for this role, the following are essential**:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with your team and management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and use of initiative
- Physically fit for heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or chemical handling experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Flexibility to do day shift training (if interested in nightshift)
- Current LF Licence (advantage but not essential)
