As an Operator & Maintainer to theAustralian Federal and NSW governments, Parklife Metro is leading atransformative metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with thenew Western Sydney Airport.
The Parklife Metro (PLM) consortium, madeup of Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild, is delivering the Stations,Systems, Trains and Operations & Maintenance (SSTOM) package of works forthe Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport (SM-WSA) project.
RDWSA will proudly operate and maintain 6 newstations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stablingand maintenance facility at Orchard Hills on the Western Sydney Airport metroline for 15 years after the line has become operational.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Asset Production Manager, youwill act as the technical and asset authority for Rollingstock and RailSystems, ensuring assets are safe, reliable, compliant and optimised forlong-term performance.
You will work closely with OEMs (includingSiemens), Sydney Metro and internal operations teams to deliver outcomesaligned to RSNL, ONRSR accreditation, WHS legislation, CCID obligations and ISO55001 in a GOA4 operation. Your responsibilities may include:
* Asset lifecycle management ofSiemens passenger rollingstock and rail systems
* Governance of signalling, CBTC,communications, OCC and depot systems
* Contract and performancemanagement of OEMs and key suppliers
* Configuration control,engineering change and safety assurance
* Reliability improvement, RAMSreporting and defect management
* Compliance with RSNL, ONRSR,WHS, TfNSW and Contractual requirements
* Oversight and Assurance of the 25kVAC traction power
* Oversight of InfrastructureMaintenance Vehicles (IMVs), hi-rail vehicles and depot working equipment
* Electrical Management of the 25kVAC traction power network.
* Assurance of plantregistration, certification and Minimum Operating Standards compliance
