Job Description
Our organization is seeking a skilled Market Management System Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operational technology group, you will play a crucial role in developing requirements for Market Management System (MMS) solutions.
MMS solutions are complex systems that require a high level of security and incorporate the latest software industry technologies. You will work closely with internal teams, external customers, and solution providers to enable project teams to deliver business requirements and acceptance criteria on time, within budget, and with the required quality.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market system concepts and business processes. A master's degree in information technology, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required. Additionally, a proven experience in a technical consultancy role within the electrical utility industry, especially with Operational Technologies such as MMS, EMS, DMS, OMS solutions, is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contributing to the implementation of MMS solutions using software suites.
* Owning technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of projects.
* Developing business requirements, both functional and non-functional, for MMS solutions.
* Collaborating and working with SMEs to develop business requirements and scopes of work.
* Developing requirement traceability matrices to ensure agreed requirements are completed and fully tested.
* Elaborating business requirements into development stories with acceptance criteria.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical consultancy role within the electrical utility industry.
* Experience with energy & ancillary services markets such as Day Ahead (DA) & Real-time (RT) is a plus.
* High-level understanding of market systems solutions from an OT standpoint is desirable.
