A well-established Residential Construction business is expanding in the Illawarra and is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer / Accounts Clerk to join our small, supportive team.
About the Role
You will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of our business, working closely with clients, contractors, and our existing team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* General administrative duties
* Liaising with clients and contractors
* Bookkeeping and accounts management
* Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Payroll processing
* Purchase Orders and bank reconciliations
* Project job costing
About You
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in bookkeeping and administration (ideally within construction)
* Proficient in Xero accounting software
* Intermediate level Xero proficiency including reporting capabilities required
* Strong understanding of accounts processes and project costing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Australian work rights required for this position
