About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tourism Marketing and Partnerships Manager to lead our marketing initiatives, grow our customer base, and strengthen Dwellingup Adventures' presence as a premier adventure tourism provider in Western Australia. This is a flexible role starting at 16 hours per week, combining strategic marketing leadership with practical sales execution and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Development
* Implement marketing strategy aligned with business goals and seasonal demand.
* Establish and manage wholesale distribution channels and relationships.
* Manage digital marketing channels, including website content, social media, email newsletters.
* Content creation across social media platforms and website —blogs, photos, and videos—to promote tours, services, and local experiences.
* Monitor analytics to optimise marketing ROI.
Partnerships & Business Growth
* Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including tourism bodies, local businesses, and accommodation providers.
* Coordinate promotional campaigns, partnerships, and events to drive visitation and bookings.
Customer & Community Engagement
* Support a customer-first culture across all touchpoints, from online inquiries to on-site experiences.
* Represent Dwellingup Adventures at trade shows, local events, and tourism networks.
* Work closely with the operations team to align marketing activities with service delivery and customer experience.
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in marketing (preferably tourism).
* Some exposure to the tourism industry is required to understand market dynamics and customer expectations.
* Demonstrated experience in establishing wholesale distribution channels within the tourism industry.
* Proven ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working both strategically and hands-on.
Desirable
* Understanding of wholesale distribution in tourism.
* Familiarity with outdoor adventure tourism and the Peel or South West regions.
* Graphic design or photography skills.
* Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Tourism.
