With a genuine view to permanency, this role has come about due to increased demand on the legal function stemming from new commercial initiatives and growth projects. You'll work closely with key internal stakeholders across procurement, commercial operations, and partnerships, offering timely legal guidance on a range of commercial agreements and business contracts. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll partner closely with the business to support strategic priorities, rather than purely operating in a project capacity. The team advises across non-technology procurement, supply chain matters and a wide range of commercial contracts. You'll work as part of a team of seven lawyers within a larger legal function of over 70 professionals, and have the support of senior lawyers for mentoring and professional development. About You To succeed in this role, you'll bring at least 3 years' post-admission experience in commercial law, gained in either private practice or an in-house setting. You will have: Strong skills in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts Experience advising on procurement, supply chain, and consumer law matters A practical, solutions-focused mindset and strong commercial judgement The ability to manage competing deadlines and provide clear, risk-aware advice to stakeholders Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills Experience with intellectual property, privacy or data matters will be well-regarded but not essential. Prior exposure to the insurance or financial services sectors is desirable but not required.
