About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing operation in Turrella is seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for consistent full-time work, overtime, and a stable environment. You'll play a key role in the fabrication of roller drums and structural steel components, working from detailed production drawings in a fast-paced, quality-driven workshop.
Responsibilities
* Fabricating roller drums and steel components from technical drawings.
* Producing high-quality welds with strong attention to detail.
* Manufacturing custom and specialised items as required.
* Handling and organising raw materials safely and efficiently.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and productive workspace.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Welder in a production or fabrication environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings confidently.
* High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
* Strong communication skills and team mindset.
* Forklift licence (essential).
* Formal welding certifications (optional).
* Basic computer skills (optional).
