In this position you will…
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line quality advice in employee and industrial relations matters via telephone, email and communication channels, including:
- First and second level
- Customer feedback and call routing/escalation
- Data
- Maintain a sound understanding of relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, awards, policies and practices in relation to contemporary human resource practice, particularly within the Queensland Public Sector.
- Undertake the research and assist in the analysis of emerging human resource, workforce capability and industrial relations issues and options to support the development of effective responses and mitigation strategies.

What can I earn as a People and Culture Adviser
The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west.
The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
We provide most specialised health services. A small number of our high-level acute services are done in Townsville and Brisbane.
