The Business Engagement and Training section supports Access Canberra teams and external users of the rego.act business system by implementing government commitments, coordinating system change requests, developing and delivering training, and leading consultations with internal and external stakeholders. The Assistant Director supports the implementation of government initiatives, particularly involving changes to the driver licence and vehicle registration database, providing sound advice, with a high attention to detail and negotiation skills. This successful applicant will work closely with various stakeholders through constant communication with project teams, managing priorities and ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance, while also looking for opportunities for improvement and remaining adaptive in a changing environment. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Senior Director, the Assistant Director will build, manage, and maintain high-quality collaborative and constructive relationships across the Licensing and Registrations Branch, Digital Design and Delivery Branch, ACT Government and relevant external entities, overseeing the team's outputs to drive positive outcomes.
