About the Role
Permanent role on a 42‐hour per week Day Shift/Night Shift Continuous roster at Worsley Refinery. The Operator Power Systems is responsible for safely operating power generation plant and equipment to deliver reliable production outcomes in line with site standards and schedules.
* Completing handovers, reviewing asset condition and identifying gaps or risks
* Executing assigned tasks using SAP, ensuring hazards and controls are understood
* Performing routine checks, identifying emerging work and supporting safe work practices
* Recording and communicating work outcomes, incidents and improvement opportunities
About You
We are looking for a candidate who has the following experience and capabilities:
* Experience working within power generation or heavy industrial environments
* A strong commitment to safety, with the confidence to speak up and take ownership
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared outcomes
* Sound problem‐solving skills and the ability to identify and respond to issues
* Clear communication skills, including accurate reporting and handovers
* A proactive, reliable approach with attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications
* Advanced Boiler Operations High Risk Work Licence
* Turbine Operations High Risk Work Licence
* Holds, or is willing to work towards:
o Isolation and hot work competency
o Required CPKs and APKs relevant to the area
* Certificate III in Electricity Supply Industry (Operations)
