We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FSQ Technician to join our team, reporting into the FSQ Manager, based at our facility in Rooty Hill. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the day-to-day sampling, testing and documentation requirements in the Production Plant. For example product sensory, CCP checks and other analytical testing. You will be responsible in arranging with the contract laboratories all outsourced testing requirements and ensure that tools for trending (MQIS, SharePoint, Excel) are up to date. If you are ambitious and have good communication skills as well as a strong technical knowledge in Food Safety and Regulatory, FSQ knowledge in HACCP and its prerequisite programs, then we are looking for you to join us
Key responsibilities include:
 * Line Support / Daily review
 * Collecting and reviewing paperwork and electronic production records
 * Highlight any non-conformances
 * Supporting operations
 * Assist with troubleshooting on production line
 * Reinforce correct FSQ processes and procedures
 * Assist and help with corrective actions
 * Required sampling and testing of raw materials, products, machinery and production areas
 * Follow correct testing procedures
 * Maintain cleanliness of the testing area
 * Recording results in MQIS and communication of results to FSQ team
 * Product Sensory
 * Assist in out of specification investigation
 * Conduct internal GMP audits each month in the warehouse, production lines etc
The successful candidate will possess the following:
 * Food Science & Technology, or a relevant technical area qualification
 * Basic laboratory skills – microbiological and physical Previous FMCG experience
 * Good time management and work priortising skills
 * A proactive work ethic and a 'can do' attitude
 * Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work within a team and independently
 * Great attention to detail and working to deadlines in a busy work environment.
