New Porgera Limited (NPL) is a company incorporated in Papua New Guinea and owns the Porgera Gold Mine in Enga Province. The Porgera Gold Mine will employ nearly 3,000 Papua New Guineans at full production, and over the last 30 years of life of the mine it has contributed approximately 10% of Papua New Guinea's total annual exports.
About the role
New Porgera Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Inventory and MRP Analyst for a minimum of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Superintendent Inventory, this role supports the analysis of inventory holdings, trends, and performance, delivering clear recommendations for optimisation. You will be responsible for master data management and the continuous improvement of inventory settings, including MRP and demand planning analysis and coordination, as well as the preparation and publication of the weekly Gold Stoppers report.
The role provides analytical support for plant shutdown planning and PCR development, along with oversight of inventory improvement initiatives in close collaboration with on-site teams. You will also act as a key liaison with stakeholders, including HME leadership and regional supply teams.
Additional responsibilities include insurance and critical spares analysis, implementing control measures and risk mitigation strategies, and coaching, training, and mentoring PNG national staff to build sustainable, long-term capability.
These roles are designed to deliver immediate analytical uplift while embedding longer-term capability within the local inventory team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position, ideally within the mining or heavy industry. Experience with SAP is essential. You will be a proactive self-starter, flexible in your approach, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, demanding role.

This role is offered as Monday to Friday, either remote or the Barrick Perth Office (preferred), with quarterly site visits, these roles will provide specialist analytical and planning capability to strengthen inventory governance, optimise holding levels, and improve demand planning outcomes across the operation.
