We play a crucial role in supporting major infrastructure and development projects by providing a full-service solution that encompasses quarry products, crushing and screening, concrete products and transport operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this hands-on, field-focused role involves partnering with site teams to foster a proactive safety culture across multiple locations. You'll be out in the field conducting audits, assessments, and investigations, ensuring our people, contractors, and communities are safe every day.
You'll champion WHS best practice, support compliance across quarrying and concrete operations, and lead initiatives that keep safety at the core of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions
* Support compliance with NSW WHS and Mines WHS legislation
* Maintain and improve safety management systems, documentation, and training programs
* Mentor and support site and quarry managers on safe work practicesPrepare reports, safety metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement
* Coordinate WorkCover claims and injury management when required
Qualifications
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in quarrying, mining, concrete, or transport industries
* In-depth knowledge of NSW WHS and Mines WHS legislation
* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple sites
* Confident using Microsoft Office and WHS systems
* Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly
