We are seeking a Full-Time Veterinarian to join our team at Burpengary Vet. This role offers a flexible roster with a mix of consulting and surgical caseload to suit your interests and strengths.

Burpengary Vet is a brand-new, purpose-built clinic with a supportive and friendly team environment. On a daily basis, you'll work alongside 5–6 veterinarians and 8 dedicated support staff, including an experienced nursing team and a dedicated reception team.

Our caseload is wide and varied, providing excellent opportunities to grow your skills in both medicine and surgery. We actively encourage the development of special interests and are passionate about supporting continued learning and professional growth.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day

* Managing a varied caseload across both medicine and surgery
* Utilising advanced diagnostics, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment
* Delivering preventative healthcare such as vaccinations, parasite control, and routine wellness checks
* Educating and supporting pet owners while building strong, trusted client relationships
* Working collaboratively with a skilled nursing team and experienced veterinary colleagues
* Confidently managing emergency and critical cases as required
* Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records to ensure continuity of care

About You

* A qualified Veterinarian with registration (or eligibility for registration) with the QLD Veterinary Practitioners Board
* Ideally 4+ years' experience in small animal practice (though we're open to passionate vets at different career stages)
* A strong communicator and team player who enjoys building lasting client relationships
