Healthcare Australia is expanding our Patient Transport Team, and we're looking for experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to take on rewarding roles as Patient Transport Officers and Enrolled Nurses in Griffith and Wagga Wagga.
About the Role:
In this permanent role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patients receive protected, timely, and respectful care during transport. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical oversight and support during non-emergency patient transport
- Driving ambulances and ensuring vehicle and patient safety
- Assisting patients during entry and exit, and supporting them throughout their journey
- Collaborating with hospital staff and other health professionals to ensure smooth patient handovers
- Responding calmly and efficiently in dynamic and time-sensitive situations

Whether you're responding to scheduled hospital transfers or supporting emergency departments, no two days will be the same.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1+ years post-graduate experience as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- Experience in Patient Transport or Emergency Department settings highly regarded
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Class C Unrestricted Driver's License with a safe driving record
- Ability to drive an ambulance and provide hands-on support to patients
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
- A calm and compassionate approach under pressure
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
