Job Title: Laboratory Operations Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Laboratory Operations Specialist. This role will involve coordinating and executing essential laboratory operations in the Pilbara region and surrounding areas.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Collecting samples from various sources, including water, soil, and sewage.
* Maintaining all sampling and laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
* Performing quality control checks and collecting required quality control samples as requested.
* BUILDING AND MAINTAINING GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS.
* Arranging field consumables, sampling media, and equipment as required for each job.
* Preparing job safety analyses and risk assessments for each allocated job.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree qualification in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Proven technical skills in the mining sector, with experience as a Field Sampling Technician.
* Experience in customer service and client communication.
* A C-class manual driver's license.
* 4WD training.
* Senior First Aid certification.
